Okay here's some other funny ones that have been in my winamp playlist while I was doing it: Phantom of the Opera theme Texas Fight Song Aggie War Hymn Boomer Sooner Jerky Boys - "you kicked my dog"
Thanks everybody. I'm getting some of those songs to see what I think because I'm not familiar with everyone's suggestions. I do already have Bump and Grind on my list. Also, I already had Chaka Chan's "Tell Me Something Good" Freaks of the Industry is good, but I had aleady put it on another CD that I gave her with a "One Hit Wonder" theme. I've still got some more listening to do, but ya'll have some great ideas. Very well rounded too.
Who can forget the immortal: Pearl Necklace or even better: Tube Snake Boogie "She won't do it but her sister will..." Damn ya'll Houstonians are lucky to be able to catchem at the Rodeo. I am sure the show will be phenomenal, totally kickus buttus.
Y'all said Marvin Gaye, but... Y'all never said "Sexual Healing". That has got to be among the top 5 songs ever on my faves list. ... btw, Enigma's "Principles of Lust" is also a very good choice!
Bumping up a very old thread... Anyway, I was listening to "Blow by Blow" by Jeff Beck and specifically the songs, "Scatterbrain" and "Cause We've Ended as Lovers". These two songs (despite being instrumentals), especially the first one are great choices for this thread. "Scatterbrain" features some of the fastest guitar soloing I have ever heard - it is amazing.
This is what I listen to when I DO IT. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/IOyEw9bT8yQ&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/IOyEw9bT8yQ&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
