There's another one on West Gray near Shepherd.

I agree with this concept whole-heartedly. I've never had In-N-Out, but to the people who like it better, but live in Texas, why don't you ask for your Whataburger to be dressed like they do at In-N-Out, unless they have some secret sauce.

FYI, folks, you don't have to have a Whataburger with Mustard if you don't like it.

I had a friend who lived in Cali for a couple of years, and he said that In-N-Out was very good, but not worth the hype. Now, if you simply want a GOOD burger in Houston, try Christian's Tailgate in Midtown. Now That's a burger, and not even that expensive.

In-n-Out is the most overrated burger chain in history.

And yes, I've probably had it like 5 or 6 times. It's good, but not great. And their fries are terrible.

If you are in Cali...Fatburger is much better

In-n-Out is the best fast food burger I have ever had period. I'm sure if there were In-n-Outs in Houston, I would get sick of it. In-n-Out is smart to not go national cause people outside of Cali would stop talking about it.

My second favorite regional burger is Braums found in Oklahoma and North Texas.

Whataburger is not on my list. I would rather go to Wendy's, Jack in the Box, or Sonic before Whataburger.

I think I'm gonna do Jack today.

That is an unenlightened opinion. I guess you like almost stale buns and month old veggies on your burger.

    Whatever floats your boat.

Anyone been to Lankfords? I didn't know where my co-workers were taking me but it was a good burger.

It is very good, but Christian's is better, and a nicer place to eat lunch.

In-N-Out...oh God thats some great food. With all the hype, it did NOT disappoint when I first tried it. I loved the fries, they didn't make me feel like crap afterwards like most fries. Fresh, fresh, fresh burgers. If you like lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on your burger, you have to try In-N-Out. If you're not a veggies-on-the-burger person, you might not be so impressed.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries is plannign one Texas location. I looked it up when a poster mentioned they are coming to Texas.

It is going to be in Rosenberg. Damn...that would be a hell of a drive for a burger.

They are only in the NW, but the correct answer is Burgerville. Walla Walla onion rings, sweet potato fries, huckleberry milkshakes, grilled salmon salad, not to mention the burgers.

In N Out is nothing but a limp ass burger with some drippy sauce. It is way overrated. I will take Whataburger over it every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Let's look at the facts:

    - Whataburger offers mustard, jalapenos, grilled onions... all on a toasted bun
    - Whataburger has the A1 Thick and Hearty Burger, Honey Barbecue Chicken Strip sandwich, Whatachicken, Taquitos, Pancakes, etc.
    - Whataburger has better fries and ketchup
    - Whataburger is open 24 hours

"just how you like it" my *******. The only time I ever asked for something extra was BBQ sauce on my burger and they said "We don't have any BBQ Sauce."

-In-N-Out offers high quality burgers produced by employees who are actually well compensated and work in an open environment where the customer can see them.
-In-N-Out's Double Double is about 3.00 dollars.
-In-N-Out has a secret menu, how cool is that?

I miss Whataburger since I moved away from Houston. But in my part of the country, Southeast, there is a great place called Steak N Shake.

on the hardee's vs. carl's jr similarities:

sorry, their menu items are not identical from store to store, but come on, its the same burger! carls has the six dollar burger, hardees has the thickburger.

oh wait, they both have the six dollar burger!

    from the hardee's wiki page

and look at their websites menu respectively, its the same website, same company.

verdict- its the same burger, they taste no different

That is unfortunate about the BBQ sauce. Does In N Out offer BBQ sauce on anything?

The reason the double-double is cheap is because it's small

In N Out's secret menu? You mean the "not so secret menu" lets you order animal style or protein style? Big f'n deal.
