    Exactly....thank you, Rocket River.

I mean Dre's best song doesn't even feature him rapping in "Ain't Nuttin' But a G Thang".

What was the song by Ice Cube that had the lyric "Yo Dre stick to producing (or something like that)?" I want to say it was "No Vaseline" off Death Certificate and it was, of course, when Cube and Dre were feuding with one another.

Diarrhea just flows and comes to you, too. Doesn't necessarily make it a good thing.

    Chuck D & Ice T
    are 1-2 IMO.

I always thought it was Freddy Mercury singing "mud in your face, big disgrace, kicking your can all over the place". Not sure which was first.

Manny is now a blossoming unliscenced psychiatrist.

Okay, so obviously more people didnt like Eminem than liked him. Or maybe lots of people wanted to vote for you being a douche, so that screwed up the vote. Either way, I don't care. I think a lot of people respect Eminem, including people whose opinions I respect. (Jeff, RM95).

Nah, nobody rigged these polls. And Eminem got as many votes as your boy Snoop Dog.

Nah, no profanity laced tirade you ****ing ****bag.

My personality? MY personality might have trouble in the real world? I think I'm doin pretty fine in the real world buddy.

"Nomar - I don't enjoy getting into pissing contests with you, but you backed me into a corner and called me out in your thread. And that is something that I'm not going to put up with. Period."

Haha, what does that mean? You make it sound like you just beat me down or something. Or maybe you'll get Clutch to do something to me on your behalf. Sure buddy, keep dreaming.

..and this topic is pretty stupid too. Who's the best singer of all time? What's the best band of all time? You can discuss until Stone Cold comes home but nothing's gonna get settled.

I guess I should have included a few smilies in there to deflect any direct attack at you...my bad.

    :)

I also like that song by Wreckshop though and a couple others I can't quite remember.

You haven't heard the latest news? It came out a few months back that actually he had his stuff written for him up until his 4th album by a guy named "Jay-O" Jay-O came out and publicly stated that on mtv.com and he said he plans to come out with his on CD too.

Jay-O is a biitch. He hatin' on Jigga cuz he didn't jump on the Rocafella bandwagon, now Jay-Z is a tycoon and Jay-O is some Biitch ass scrub making ludicrous claims.

for any Jay-Z haters go pick up a copy of his MTv Unplugged CD
with The Roots as his backup band.

then pick up his first album Reasonable doubt, which came out only in (95?)1996. he is still relatively new to the scene. that's why he's not getting any credit. the guy has been consistently producing an album a year for seven years; his record company Rocafella records is churning out today's new Rap stars; not to mention his clothing line, Rocawear , leads the urban fashion markets, so he is a good (Hustler)businessman as well.

in my opinion , he is on top of the rap world for a long time to come.

As far as solo artists go, 2Pac had the best overall combination of lyrics, presentation and voice. Biggie lacked the voice, was kinda annoying at times, but was more lyrically inclined, IMHO - it's just that he never really talked about some real stuff like Pac.
Now if y'all want to know the truth on who is the best rap TALENT (i.e. group), you shouldn't even have to ask. BONE THUGS-N-HARMONY, hands down. I'm anxiously awaiting their album that's dropping this summer, FINALLY, after they resolved their disputes with Tomicka Wright (ruthless CEO) and congregated as a group for the first time since rushing through BNTHRessurrection just to satisfy contract obligations.

and a side note, check out this thread in the rockets forum:
    http://bbs.clutchcity.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35798
it was one discussing the fact that "only 5% of the users here listen to rap." this thread proved it wrong apparently.

    Sugar HIll Gang- Bronx
    Beastie boys- Manhattan
    Tribe Called Quest- Queens
    Jay-Z- Brooklyn.

    "I'm from Marcy, I'm varsity, Chump, you're J.V."

Before NWA, there was this little group you may have heard of... Run DMC.

Their solo careers...??? They were good together for a while- NWA was good as a group and they are still good as solo acts. You can't even compare Run-DMC with Easy, Ren, Ice Cube, and Dre -- its like CBA vs NBA
