The only "star' player on Miami who was streaky at any point in the playoffs was Wade.

Nothing wrong with picking Durant though just think that saying Lebron was streaky this past playoffs is insane considering he either scored or flirted with 30 points throughout the entire playoffs.

And I know that it was Game5 but..and Heat had couple games left even if, but
He did it. Hope that makes you feel better. Since I respect the dudes talents, at some
Point man sees flaws in even the things he may have never understood.

Let's face it neither will be the greatest, if we are talking all around game LBJwins hands down, but in scoring ability at will, durant takes the last shots n doesn't pass-durant is "clutch"-durant scores at will from 2 ft-30ft., I said when Durant came pushed never be better than TSlack:man I ate crow-LBJ can score at will as well, but his shot selection
can be questionable in "clutch" situations since he doesn't usually shoot, he gets to the rim better than durant, but durant gets to the line as much, or more, and LBJ hasthe same distance n more in shooting, but he's no "pure shooter" like Durant-that's why I voted KD

Cool but never debated LeBron and Durant was just talking about Lebron being streaky.

Of course I didn't comprehend that you meant his jumpshot because the thread was talking about scoring not just shooting from the outside.

Right on ya I just meant he gets streaky shooting, he'll have a big half or qtr. etc.
He has to get to the hoop, or do his learned "dream moves" for him to be at his best.
I think he's learning that, and thus carried that team with a weak DWade, reminds
me of DWade carrying a broken Shaq in 2006. Totally different, but the fee throw line was needed bad for the Heat in 06, and the BOS series, and the quick OKC series.

i have no idea how melo has more ways to score than kobe. he doesn't have nearly the array of moves and footwork in the post kobe has, doesn't have the array of turnaround jumpers (in both directions) and fadeaways kobe has, and doesn't have pump fakes like kobe does or left-handed shots like kobe does. melo's bullrush move in the post is about the only thing kobe doesn't do. there is virtually no move kobe doesn't have. there are plenty melo doesn't have.

he certainly wasn't the best in 2008, didn't play in 2010, and isn't the best on this current team (durant has been the best scorer in 2010 and 2012). he seems to have lived on the "best international player" rep as long as the "best pure scorer" rep.

Ya Melo is at that stage where Tmac was elite scorer, but bad shot quality.
Yet Melo is praised for his scoring, n getting to the hoop...when all
I saw this year was whenever they needed him, everyone stood around let him
brick shot after shot from the outside, or the brick from the16 ft. Wing area, brick...that's all I saw last year.

Not necessarily the best scorer anymore, but in terms of skill level? Kobe, hands down.

It's between Durant and Kobe (definitely declining). Anyone who says anything else doesn't understand the question.
