I think Cassell with the Bucks was his prime. Also Sam wanted to show Clutch City who he thought should have been the long term solution at point guard.
I just want to know what is the point of this thread? Sure discussion is great and all but what are we trying to achieve in this thread? I don't see how the thread relates to GARM at all.
It's about the Rockets. And you can talk about any Rockets point guard and their debuts. For example, you can talk about Tony Douglas's debut as a Rocket.
I love all the old rockets. I think of thrre things when i see kenny smith :"tissue", Derek Harper and the pump-fake-penny-is-an-idiot-three-from-the-top-of-the-circle to tie game 1vs Orlando. Long time rockets fans should know what is meant by tissue. And Kenny is a fantastic analyst in TNT.
If we're talking about a big one game performance, then you gotta remember Eric "Sleepy" Floyd. Ranks up there with Glyde. http://www.nba.com/history/records/playoffs_game_points.html Most players, 40 or more points, game 2 - Los Angeles at Detroit, March 29, 1962 (Baylor 45, West 41) 2 - Houston at Dallas, April 30, 1988 (Floyd 42, Olajuwon 41) 2 - Houston vs. Utah, May 5, 1995 (Drexler 41, Olajuwon 40) http://www.nytimes.com/1988/05/01/sports/nba-playoffs-rockets-tie-series-with-mavericks.html
