1) Chris Paul 2) Deron Williams 3) Steve Nash 4) Chauncey Billups 5) Derrick Rose 6) Rajon Rondo 7) Tony Parker 8) Russell Westbrook 9) Jason Kidd 10) Andre Miller 11) Jameer Nelson 12) Devin Harris 13) Aaron Brooks 14) Brandon Jennings 15) Baron Davis Top half IMO. Then the Mo Williams, Jose Calderon types of the league.
ok, i get your point, but in no way, would any GM in the league take AB over Rose. NONE. but yeah, being a rocket enthusiast myself, i like AB, he consistently scores 20 - 25, super quick and strokes it like he means it. great shooter. Rose on the other hand, throws it down. did you see that dunk he had against the suns? i mean he's got the skills to go with the amazing physical abilities that AB doesn't. i get your point though, AB if he still continues to grow (his game) could become a top 10 point guard, but he's far from it now... IMO.
That looks good except Rose is way too high imo. He may get up there some day, but he has proved very little as of now. I would also flip Brooks and Harris
Obviously, Rose has the potential to be a superstar, but right NOW, I don't think he is better than brooks, I would say they are both on the same level. Brooks does not have the ceiling that Rose does
How is Harris better than Brooks? Honestly? That isn't homerism at all. I never said he was top 10, I said he is better than Harris which isn't a crazy thing to say.
i know, i didn't want to go there but the fact is with Rose, we're probably a playoff team, with Brooks, we're one of the worst teams in the west. you figure it out. he does point out that Rose's ceiling is higher though, that's true and says NOW they are about the same, although i kindly disagree.
Harris' first year with the Nets, was an all-star. now, i don't know... to be honest haven't seen him play. but the thing with Brooks is, if he continues to get better, i can't imagine how good he'll be. AI part 2? Harris, i don't know. you'd figure if he's that good and with Brooks and a couple of good young wings, they'd have won at least 10 games by now.
From what I've heard, he's all but given up this season. And frankly, if Harris and Lopez were as good as everyone claims they are, the Nets wouldn't be THIS awful. Putting Brooks above Harris is from my perspective obvious. < Good. >
Its between CP3 and Nash, my list of ones in the poll, would be like this: nash paul williams billups kidd parker rondo I dont know why, but I never liked tony parker, he is good, but I never liked him.
anyone who thinks that aaron brooks is better than derrick rose right now has a) never seen rose play more than handful of games b) not a very good judge of nba talent there isn't a single gm, coach or ass. coach in the NBA who would even think twice about who he would rather have as their team's PG, when faced with the aforementioned players...
brutally honest. Kidd is highly underrated, he's lost a step and still one of the best. he was just awesome when he was with the nets, just awesome. he only had K-mart and Richard Jefferson and took them to the finals several times. he was asked to play on the olympics team because of the leadership skills, the way he plays, TO WIN. yeah, Kidd still has game.
