My vote goes to Bird. But I'm really surprised there's not much mention of Magic. The thread is titled "Best Player with the game on the line" and NOT who do you want taking the last shot. Both Bird and Magic had supreme confidence in their own abilities but would not hesitate to find an open teammate. This is what made them special and is a quality I feel is lacking in the majority of todays players.
