I find it amusing that depending on the thread opinions differ quite considerably. I was arguing with many on here that I'd take Rose over Paul and it seemed that it was 10 against 1......and yet on this thread there are many that proclaim D.Rose as the best player in the entire league ? Clutchfans are truly amazing.
At the moment, KB24... but, he'll simmer down as the wear & tear associated w/ a compressed season gets to his 33-year-old body. Ultimately, I'd say LeBron, Kobe, KD, Rose, Dwight, CP3.
He's also shooting 50 percent during that stretch and have won all their games. Don't be dense. If you actually watch the games, such as the Utah game you would know Bynum and Gasol were playing terrible. Kobe kept them in the game. Yesterday, the lakers bench scored a whopping 3 points. It isn't easy to shoot 25-30 shots and still make 13-15 field goals as well, while consistently doing it night in and night out.
If you keep chucking up shots relentlessly to da tune of THIRTY plus attempts per game ,n ot sharing da ball wit ur teammates and taking every shot yourself on offense, some of em are bound to go in da hoop.

I saw the Utah game. It was iso Kobe basically the entire 2nd half. And I saw the 2nd half v. the Cavs. It was iso Kobe. Even Mychal Thompson, the Lakers' radio broadcasters, believes the Lakers should involve their big men more to be better. The Lakers are getting away with Kobe shooting 30 times a game right now b/c their competition is weak.
Not sure why people are trying to say Kobe isn't effective right now. In the last 7 games he is scoring 37 ppg on exactly 50% shooting...and with 5 apg. And the one game they lost in this stretch he shot 54%. This is not the time to be saying Kobe is bad for his team. Give the dude some props.
Last 5 games Kobe is averaging 39 pts. 5 assists. 5 rebounds. shooting 50 percent fg, almost 90 percent at the line(one of LBJ's necessary improvements if you saw how many times he blew that game last week), Lakers, 5-0. I am not going to Lie, I thought Kobe was going to decline, naturally of course at 33, no idea how he is doing what he is.
Iverson wasn't a good volume chucker cause his fg % was actually even lower than Kobe's. He was on his way out of the league at Kobe's age now. The guy has outlasted his contemporaries in Iverson, McGrady, Carter and not only continues to be effective but is still mentioned in MVP discussions. You don't have to like him but he deserves props.

lakers gotta trade bynum and gasol if kobe is going to keep playing like this, they are becoming useless. Try to get howard and some fillers.
