I lived at Richmond and Montrose, now I'm in the Old 6th Ward, which is the largest collection of Victorian houses in the state outside Galveston. Lots of families, and very quiet streets. The first time I drove home from my office in the skyline district, it took me 4 minutes. A lot more going on near Montrose, as far as bars and restaurants go, plus the rail is walking distance, but this neighborhood is great. If I walk to the end of the block, I have a postcard-worthy view of downtown.

Let me elaborate on this.....specifically Uptown Park.

Just visit, you wont need me (or anyone) to give you a reason.

    What street are you on?

I'm right off Houston and Edwards. Looking at a place on State right now.
