I dont really like chocolate bar I wish houston had a Rocky Mountain Choclate Factory. Those are easily the best
Be careful with the Chocolate Bar, in the last year or so it seems like every time we buy some kind of chocolate covered raspberries, strawberries, bananas ex. they seem to have been sitting around too long and the fruit has gone bad.. The truffles there are top notch though, also the dark chocolate is a bit too much on the sweet side for me, but the milk is really nice IMO..
I would say World Market. I know it's not "American Chocolate" and that's the good thing about that place. At World Market you can find chocolate from all around the world, and that is a VERY good thing for a spoiled European girl like myself. I hate most American chocolates and candies, it is totally tasteless and boring.
I second the vote for Raindrop on Waugh. http://www.raindropchocolate.com/index.html http://houston.citysearch.com/review/44674310
Man.....I did not know about that place, and I'd like to think of myself as a foodie. I'll have to check it out. Sadly, the European girl is right, the vast majority of American chocolate is crap. Sees is pretty good, and some Godivas are fabulous (though some are a bit too cloyingly sweet).
