That place is still around? Wow! I wouldn't think a hole-in-the-wall make-out place like that would last so long. They must have been in business 20 years or so. -- droxford
Go to Whiskey Bar in Hotel Icon. There is a little side room with a fireplace and good music. Not a bad spot. But, as mentioned earlier, location isnt important. Its more about timing and how you kiss. You can be in the most romantic spot ever, but if your tongue is out of control, then the whole thing is ruined.
naked in the pool works for me. Color me surpirse that Marfreles and those makeout couches are still going concern.
First kiss w/ my gf was on a rainy night after we got back from a late dinner at Bennigans....it was in front of her house in a light, gentle sprinkle. Couldn't have asked for a better moment than that
Two places: 1. The waterwall, just make sure your the only couple in there when you do it so it doesnt ruin the mood 2. At the very top balcony of the Hilton America's hotel right next to the Toyota Center. It overlooks the city with a great open air view and you can go there on a weeknight when no one is up there. P.S. If you choose 2 don't sit on lounge chair farthest to the right. I christened it last week.
The bayou at Allen Parkway after the bars close. Between the hours of 3 and 6 it's like the two of you own the city. Roll down the hill, swing on the swings, walk the bridge to or from Allen Pkwy Village and, after the adventure, kiss her while the sun comes up. Time was you could buy cigars from the Allen Park Inn across the street and smoke them down there. I consumated several relationships after Allen Park Inn cigars out there. And it was nice to be able to go get a room across the street after. That's all done since Allison. Anyway, it's always been a romantic spot for me. Marfreless rules too, but more for raunchy hookups than romantic ones. My last few years in Houston I took to drinking downstairs by myself or with a friend. I liked watching the first date couples play it cool on their way up to the couches. I imagined myself some sort of ironic elder stateseman at the age of thirty, having been a regular there since I was fifteen. But then I felt the same way about buying popcorn next door at the River Oaks. Allen Parkway, dude. Good luck.
