1. Luigi's Pizza 2. Pink's Pizza 3. Brothers pizza (huge slices for 2 bucks) I've heard bombay pizza co. is amazing, something called indian pizza. Anyone ever had it?
So what should the best pizza look like in your opinion? Post a picture, preferably pepperoni only, to keep them comparable.
ooh forgot about this one. Very good too, but I'd still give the edge to Barry's and Star Pizza (and BJ's).
I know this thread is about Houston pizza places, but in Austin, East Side Pies and Homeslice Pizza are the bomb.
I'm a New York style pizza guy through and through and for that, my favorite is EASILY Brother's Pizza in Greenspoint Mall. It's phenomenal, classic NY style pizza that was founded by guys from New York and has been there for 30 years. After that, I like Frank's downtown and Pink's for something different. And I loves me some Home Slice when I'm in Austin.
They also have a brothers pizza on highway 6 right off I10. Sooo good and Ive never been to the apple but I hear brothers is pretty authentic
Love stars and grimaldi wasn't bad either. but i have to really recommend this to you guys especially those that enjoy asian flavors http://www.cheeseberry.com/ 9888 Bellaire Blvd, # 102, Houston TX 77036 Asian inspired flavors that actually go very well on top of a pizza.the pizza itself is pretty good and crispy.they do have regular flavors but i wouldn't recommend that since you're missing the point by doing so. they also have a happy hour during lunch where the personal pizza is a little cheaper.
I love the deep-dish chicken mushroom alfredo pizza at Star, its by far the best pizza I ever ate, their Joes pizza is pretty damn good too
