Fuzzy's is disgusting, I can't believe so many people are mentioning it. They have a pretty good barbecue pizza, but their red sauce is completely gross, I won't eat any of their pizza with red sauce. It also doesn't help that some of the biggest ass holes in the world work there and they charge a stupid amount for pizza.
I'll 2nd that. If you want buffet style go to Stevi B's if you have one near you. Its cheaper, has tons of different kinds, takes requests, & its good.
Can't believe no one has mentioned Frank's Pizza downtown! Closest thing to real NY street pizza in Houston. Just wish they delivered outside DT.
No one has said my favorite, and I hope it stays that way. It is the best pizza I have ever had by far and I eat it every time I am in town. I mentioned it in the "which foods taste as good reheated" thread, but won't here it's just too good and should not be changed in any way.
What? Unless anyone here owns the place why are you afraid a mention will "change" it? If no one has mentioned it i doubt one mention will have any effect on it. I love pizza in general, so it's hard to single one out. I just dont want anything with a burnt or hard crust, ketchup tomato sauce, or with too little of the toppings.
He was talking about Angelo's: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?p=5491608#post5491608 You are screwed now theimpossibles!! I'm going over there right now and changing their pizza recipe!!
REPPED! Love this place. My and the woman would, stash a bottle of wine, grab a box of Frank's Pizza and head to that park around the corner (that's in the shadow of the big Kim Son's building) for a little picnic. When the weather's nice, I think I would prefer that to any other pizza experience.
determining the best pizza in NYC is like crowning the best brisket in the state of texas. everyone will have their fave, but IMHO, lombardi's is good but nowhere near the top.
