I voted for Brooks even though he is not as good at setting up teammates as kyle. I just like how he threads the needle on some of his long bounce passes.
he is a point guard with shooting guard scoring abilities. guess he has to pass the ball all the time to players who can't score when needed to for you to call him a pg.. if ab was to play the way a traditional pg would then we would be fighting for a top 7 draft pick.. straight garbage bro
I am more surprised that no one has said that this is a "why is ther no videos of Chuck Hayes passing?" thread in disguise.
Chuck Hayes, all the way. You could vote Kyle, sure, but remember this: The type of PG that Kyle is, is always taught to pass first, ask questions later. Although Chuck is a tremendous passer, passing wasn't the first thing taught to a PF; blocking out, post defense, pick and roll defense, and even shooting are all taught before passing. And the way Chuck can pass (behind the back, etc) is very finesse; something not seen in today's game, outside of maybe Pau Gasol.
I see Kyle get caught picking up his dribble trying to pass out while pivoting and other crazy things far too often. I have to vote for Brooks because he can pass pretty well in more situations than the other players can. More specifically, I like that he's able to create and then pass effectively though he often scores instead, which isn't a bad thing considering that he's so prolific at it. Sure Hayes is a very good passer, but I couldn't dream of this guy passing on the dribble and other such situations. I vote Brooks, because I feel that he creates more offense than Lowry or any other player on this roster besides Martin, who isn't really a passer.
A beautiful, perfectly timed pass from Chuck to Kevin... <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/7GG9r1RcEcM&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7GG9r1RcEcM&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> Another, even more amazing pass from Chuck, this time to AB... <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/TBdKB_HyXMk&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/TBdKB_HyXMk&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> Heck, I had to add this. It's Clutch's video of Luis Scola's 44 point, 20-25 shooting night and I think he included every shot. Watch it and you will lose count of how many of his shots were set up by passes from Brooks, who's a bit underrated in the passing department, in my opinion. Check it out... <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/daXvNty0N78&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/daXvNty0N78&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
I must be missing something here but Joe Johnson is on the Hawks, not the Rockets. Can someone clear up why he is a choice?
I was waiting for this response. And if it wasn't post it, I was gonna post something about "more videos"...
The Black JJ = Budinger Anyways, best passers are probably Lowry, Hayes, Brooks, then Ariza, in that order.
chuck is an amazing high post and outlet passer. he's great at starting fast breaks when he gets the defensive rebound.
