This post seems excruciatingly r****ded without a question. "Why do you keep making these threads with the intent of taking a jab at McGrady" would've been it.
here's my first post without the pictures: tell me where I'm wrong. tell me what were better seasons for the magic than those?
Your posts seem innocent enough from a cursory glance. Yes, those were the two best seasons for the magic. You weren't wrong. That's not the point I'm trying to make. This, along with two threads in the GARM, were not made without ulterior motives. In fact, you even went so far as to include a post from a "TOF" to start out your Olajuwon thread. Is it coincidental that you started this thread to compare the best Magic players? Oh what's that? McGrady was on the Magic in the prime of his career? No way. What about the "50-point club"? Coincidental that McGrady fell just short (a common trend in his career) of that mark? Look, I'm not disputing that McGrady's NBA career has been nothing but a disappointment. You seem to have a personal vendetta against him though. How come I never see you make threads comparing players on a team that McGrady didn't play for?
I have to say one thing about Dwight Howard, it's pretty noble of him to ask the player who helped deny Orlando a championship to help him. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/mArHU1ewSog" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Let's see how he does the next 3-5 years.
Shaq had to go against better talent, and the Magic were only one Nick Anderson away from winning a game.
The Magic were one Courtney Lee away of having a good shot in the Finals. That and Jameer Nelson ****ing up
I think you give too much thought to this. I doubt Howard gives a **** that Olajuwon denied Orlando a championship. Further, it is quite possible he wont even be in Orlando in a few years.
I would have to say that season when Shaq led the league in scoring and took them to the finals was the best magic season ever. They beat the Bulls with MJ too! http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/o/onealsh01.html
Yeah, it was most def the best Magic team ever that year. It's really tough to choose between that year's Shaq and 01 T-Mac.
