I want to say Penny Hardaway just because I LOVED his game back before his injury issues. Oh, what could've been...
Torn between Shaq and McGrady. Too bad neither spent many years there. Howard can get there, but not yet.
Shaq is so far ahead of Howard at this point IMO. Watching Howard post up down low is almost as painful as watching Yao grimacing on the floor. I think this poll should be Shaq vs MerGady, ignoring their playoff success (lack thereof). Skill wise, of course.
Best rebounder: Dwight Best defender: Dwight Best scorer: T-Mac Most potential: T-Mac Most dominant: Shaq
corrected. Oh for scoring: 61 Shaquille O'Neal, LA Lakers LA Clippers 3/6/2000 53 Shaquille O'Neal, Orlando Minnesota 4/20/1994 50 Shaquille O'Neal, LA Lakers New Jersey 4/2/1998 so: Best scorer: Shaq
WOW big surprise tinman turning a thread about tmac... seriously give it up. tinman this is the year 2010 quit living in the past and comparing a center to a small forward. now back on topic. If you want stats you go with tmac. If you want accomplishments.. o wait the magic never won anything but I suppose shaq. howard has no offensive game yet.
the dumb tmac fans wanted some. no if you want stats, you go with shaq and dwight howard. rebounds block shots scoring ( Yeah Shaq was the scoring champ) I'm not comparing two winners to a loser. Look at the poll, it's two winners for the Magic. The Magic made it to the NBA Finals twice, while under the other person that some stupid fans want didn't even win a playoff series. I'm assuming the two best seasons in Orlando history were when they got the furthest right?
I'll give you that. Tracy has flirted with 60 and 50 points earlier in his career too. I just feel he had a more loaded arsenal and different ways to score but Shaq's dominance on the offensive end was ridiculous. I don't see anything wrong with it, Tracy did play for the Magic after all.
He did play for the Magic and he did have great stats, but the other two took the Magic to the Finals. This isn't best SCORER of the Magic, it's best players. For example, Tim Duncan isn't the best scorer on the Spurs, he's the best player.
Its about results. Hakeem led Rockets teams with merely 42 wins (like this year's team) and 45 wins to the NBA Finals, thats greatness. Had Tracy won a playoff series or two (maybe finish off the Pistons?) then he may have a case, but even then the best Magic player is hands down Shaq. Dwight can be but he needs to stay in Orlando for a few more seasons.
I don't know where you're getting your numbers. Hakeem led Rockets teams with 51 (1986), 58 (1993-94), and 47 (1994-95) wins to the Finals.
Yet another subtle but oh-so-apparent jab at McGrady from the one, the only, tinman. I seriously don't get what your problem is, dude is done with us. You act like he raped your mother or something. Get over it.
apparently you don't know anything about Shaq or Dwight Howard either. you guys need to watch some nba basketball.
What a great inference from my post. Your logic is astounding. Seriously though, answer my question. You like to call out "dumb tmac fans" for avoiding the question, yet you do the same thing to an even greater extent.
