    The original Miracle on 34th Street and It's a Wonderful Life were screened over the holidays..

    To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my favorite b&w movies, I just saw it last week.

    Dr Strangelove is another, but I havent seen it in a few months.
    I'm probably forgetting several others, but oh well...its late

    You are a slave to special effects!! I thought that the original was nerve-wracking. I've not seen the remake either.

    1980 isn't exactly old, but "The Elephant Man" was in b&w and is one of my favs
