    Matt Damon.

    Call him what you want, but he did as many action movies as anyone you'd want to call an "action star" in that time frame.

    Also, he was pretty damn ripped in those movies I think.. I mean, at least in the movie, he didn't look out of place kicking people's asses and killing them

    Dude, Crowe in Gladiator, come on... There should be a large percentage vote for Crowe on that character he played..

    I can see the votes for Damon and Statham, but I'm scratching my head why Crowe only has 3 votes. The dude is basically an action star in real life.

    COME ON ALL YOU BOURNE DERACTORS

    damon klls a dozen guys in the movie without ever using a pistol. Chokes em with his bare hands or stabs them with a pen while smacking the **** out of someone using a book. That is badass in my opinion especially in the 3rd movie where he kills the dude in Tangiers with a freaking towel.

    Hmm...I'd say that Jolie and The Rock probably deserve a spot around 10. I enjoy The Rock's roles as much as I do Statham's- he has that same kind of charisma.

    I agree w/ plutoblue. Seems like the 80's super action hero actors are a thing of the past. None of these guys jump out like Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Bruce Willis, etc. These guys WERE the movie.

    I have a hard time picking anyone on this list. All of them are memorable for only one single movie or franchise (imho). I wouldn't count Bloom because he wasn't carrying any of these movies.
