"Juice" "Menace II Society" had some rappers in it. Too $hort, M.C. Eiht and a couple of others. "Friday" "Gang Related" "8 Mile"
No one has mentioned "The Wash" starring Dr. Dre. and Snoop Dogg. I'm not sayin' it's a really good movie or anything - just reminding ya'll of another movie that actually STARS rappers. I liked Crash and I really liked Ludacris in it because he's my favorite rapper. He had one GREAT line when he said, "You might be right," when being asked why he wasn't scared. I've seen Next Friday a couple times but not Friday, so I voted for 8 Mile. Never seen or heard anything about it but that "Cool As Ice" must be one of the worst things ever created.
Oh! I thought you meant it in a "Will Smith isn't a real rapper" way. Though Smith isn't really a modern or gangsta rapper, he's had successful songs in the past and had even more success in his movies.
"Barbershop" was alright. I don’t think Ice Cube is a good actor but he has his moments in movies. Like when he and Ced are arguing outside the barbershop about what it meant to the community, and he has some moments in “Boyz in Da Hood” but everytime I watch that movie now its corny to me.
How High's the only movie I've seen out of these and to say the least, should have won an Academy Award
Ice Cube has made some good movies. Everyone forgot Three Kings with Ice Cube and Marky Mark Deep Blue Sea with LL Cool J (that movie wasnt Oscar Worthy but it was entertaining)
What kind of POLL is this? RAPPER IN MOVIE and TUPAC isnt on the LIST? That's like saying WHO"S THE BEST BBALL PLAYER in a MOVIE and JORDAN isn't on the list.
Yea they played Gridlocked the other day w/ Tupac in the movie.. He's a pretty good actor. I like the movie as well though, and 8 mile was good too.
