Sure, if you believe that "opinion" can be dumb, sure... it's pretty dumb by your standards. I don't care what you think about my opinions, though. If you're gauging how "good" or "bad" a post is just because someone has a different opinion, well... OK, I guess? I'll respect your opinion. I'll play your game, though, so I'll answer your question: I can't tell you how "often" I've watched, but I would say that I've watched enough episodes to have an opinion on it. Yes, I've watched enough episodes to see enough of Sofía Vergara's buxom... to say that that it's not "quality" as freemaniam requested. If anything, it's bad quality. Is it funny? Sure. I am not disputing that. Does it make FATTY laugh? Sure. Its purpose is met. freemaniam: try The Office or for quality as good as Cheers' or Seinfeld's was, without cheap laughs.
Wow. So you write off an entire show because a woman wears "revealing" outfits and call the entire thing raunchy? That is but one small aspect of the entire show. Sorry, but if you're more puritanical than my mom, you have serious issues.
Assuming by HK, he meant Hong Kong, he cannot view shows via hulu, abc.com, Netflix or probably any other U.S. based streaming site as they do not stream outside the U.S.
Growing up, 'Cheers' was just one of those shows that was always on. Never paid much attention to it. Now that I'm a little bit older (mid-20s), I am more receptive than ever. I love this show. I love Coach. It's gonna be sad when I see how they write him off. Coach: I'm working on a novel. Going on six years now. I think I might finish it tonight. Diane: You're writing a novel? Coach: No, reading it.
^ I saw Season 3 or maybe Season 4 at Wal-Mart one time for about $3... decided NOT to buy it if I wasn't going to have Season 1 nor Season 2. What season are you on? I think he was 'written off' in the 3rd or 4th.
Season 9 Episode 16...can't find a clip anywhere. But here's the scene (and I'll probably tear up the actual events a bit)...it has stuck with me because of how funny and ironic the whole situation was... Rebecca is drunk and is ready to have sex with Sam. They were getting hot and heavy and she tells Sam something along the lines of "don't....................stop". And Sam thinking that she is asking him to stop immediately halts the steamy session. She looks at him and says "Don't stop". For some reason, this cracked me up. And the irony is that Sam was trying so hard to sack Rebecca and there was his chance, but he didn't want to take advantage of her in her drunken stupor. Good show. Can't believe it was on the air for ten years.
