Shandon Anderson. After so many years of rooting against him on Utah, I got a bitter taste in my mouth seeing him play for us. And then I had to root against him again because he was sucking so much.

Hmm I never knew you held Barkley in such high esteem. You also made it sound like he loved it here ("here for the long run", "retired a rocket"). If that's the case why does he hate the Rockets so much? Why did he go Vader on us start saying stuff like he'd kiss a donkey's ass when Yao reaches double digits?

For best, it should have been Kevin Johnson. Or Derek Harper.

Instead, it was Sedale Threatt for worst costing us possibly the title.

And damn, did anyone disappear like Kevin Willis in the playoffs?

I was gonna add that one too, but can't remember the details.

It was 98-99 right? The anecdote was that he was literally waiting by his phone for us but didn't get a call back.

Were you the guy that called into Sportsbeat about that almost every day a decade ago?

I might have made a few calls about that.

Barkley is an entertainer and I wouldn't put much stock in his TNT shtick. Barkley enjoyed his time in Houston, respected Hakeem and Rudy T. His last season he got hurt near the beginning of the year and could've gone out then but rehabbed his ass off just so he could come back and play a couple of more times with the Rockets and had a very gracious farewell speech to the Rockets and the city of Houston.

I dunno he always picks on the Rox esp Yao Ming and Tmac. There's lots of other teams he can rag on, but he always saves his rants against us. Are you saying he's just going Hollywood Hogan on us?

Yep. I think since he retired as Rocket and his co-host is former Rocket Kenny Smith he thinks its more entertaining to rag on the Rockets. As I've said countless times though there is really no reason to take him seriously.

Worst: Rod Strickland, Mark Jackson, Charlie Ward, Rick Brunson, Eric Piatkowski, Adrian Griffin, Rhodrick Rhodes, Tracy Murray, Sam Mack, Thomas Hamilton, Derek Anderson, Stro Swift, Oscar Torres, Stacey Augmon, Kelvin "stone hands" Cato, the scrubs that were traded with Tmac, Shandon Anderson. And I know I'm missing a bunch of other Jabroni's.

WORST OF THE WORST: ANTOINE CARR: Just the mere sight of seeing him chillin on the Rockets bench with his stupid ass fuggin shades in the 98-99 season made me feel like I was a Jazz fan. Words can't describe how repulsive that was.

Especially considering he was also the guy that elbowed Charles the year before causing the latter to tear his triceps muscle. We were up double digits, up 2-1 (best of 5), Charles goes down (though valiantly tried to come back in the game in 3rd but could barely lift his arm) and haven't seen daylight since then.

I thought that was Ostertag or Foster committing that foul. I thought it was foster because I remember I was getting pissed that sloan used a bench warmer to cheap shot charles.

Bad: Brent Price could have been good but he got injured in preseason. Then Matt Maloney took over.

And I still remember Stanley Roberts playing good defense against Shaq for one game. :D
