Hmmm. If I remember right, in that version, they kept stopping and starting again towards the end....

Did you do the same thing?

Lots of good stuff, here's a few that haven't been mentioned:
-Stan Getz/Joao Gilberto - Live at Carnegie Hall
-Morphine - Good, In Spite of Me, Buena, Look Like Rain, Thursday, All Wrong, & several others off of Good & Cure for Pain
-pretty much anything on either of Jack Johnson's albums

    Great call.

I have a feeling that Dave's solo album will be a good choice as well.

I'd have to disagree with much of what's been posted, with the exception of Nolen's suggestion of Massive Attack: Mezzanine
and their single LP: Teardrop (great makeout song)

In the same mood of that song, I would recommend
    • Dissolved Girl by Massive Attack
    • Optimistic by Radiohead (hate Radiohead, but this song is awesome).
    • The City Never Sleeps, by the Eurythmics
    • Enigma - the entire album of MCMXC a.D. (preferably the extended disk)
