Fairly tough words..... You sure you can back them up? My folks are on Atkins, and I couldn't be happier.

As far as places to eat.....

I don't have to worry about my weight anymore. I went on Jimmy Kimmel's "don't eat so f'in much diet", and it has worked wonders.

    But I still love food.

That said, here are my suggestions.

Burger King: Salads are OK. You can now order a Whopper minus the bun, and they'll give you a fork.

McDonalds: I shorted them a year ago. I'm now doing a short LEAP. I want this crapfest to go down. Don't buy anything.

Jack in the Box:Believe it or not, their new tacos have very little carbs in them.

    Wendy's: Salads

And, of course, KFC is experimenting with a low carb fried chicken. It's not here yet, but I'll be downing those as soon as they get here.

DHB strikes again with a home truth! The Eagles are the worst band, ever, and if you're overweight and fall for some overhyped scam, then you're an idiot. Low carb? COME ON.

Eat a freaking salad and jog around the block you fat moron, don't eat a pile of meat and call it a diet.

    Good thread. A few commments:

    1) Never noticed the breath thing.

    2) Major Mal: Don't let a comment like that get to you bro, it's just part of the scenery here. It's like a toll for the pleasure of CC.net. Think of it like an old geezing neighbor throwing stones at happy kids who play on the block -- it's not personal, it's chronic misanthropy aimed at anything within or beyond striking distance.

    3) The Eagles still suck, and DHB is a totally avante-garde poster in here.

    4) I worry about the lo-carb thing. Seems wrong even if you're thin.
