references?? it was just old guests coming back and sitting in the back of the trial...and then quick shots of them in the witness stand. brilliant?? it wasn't even funny. once again, our tastes diverge!!
When all these ridiculous and worthless reality shows fade into ablivion, then that will be my favorite ending ever.
Anyone remember the last episode of the X-Files? It was such a dud I can't even remember it, and I was a pretty big fan.
There were references everywhere ... perhaps your memory is hazy. I already mentioned the Jackie Chiles thing. There was also the prosecutor making reference to a 'big pee party' ... that was a line Jerry used in a previous episode. I haven't seen it in a while so that's all I've got right now. Not sure what you expected out of it. I thought it was a good concept - there's absolutely no way to live up to peoples' expectations in a situation like that.
Saved By The Bell tops the list.. I mean, come on.. they had like 8 senior proms, homecomings and graduations.. they must have gotten it right at least once, right?
Actually, the final episode was pretty good, it was just the crappy two seasons leading up to that episode that hurt that series. I think it was the season finale of the season before the last season that the show should have ended on...Mulder and Scully back together, the baby just born, and we get the hint that it is actually Mulder's baby...that should have been the series finale.
That's too bad, cuz you're missing out on the brilliant Season 4, not to mention the terrific Season 5 episode, "Origin", where Connor seemed to finally make peace with his father and his trouble childhood. Although he is returning for the series finale, so we'll have to wait and see what eventually happens to the guy.
I remember that episode -- it was great. That would've been a perfect ending. So what did happen in the real finale? Refresh my memory.
They had a season finale, oh finale as in the last show ever. my bad, move along nothing to see here.
