Not sure if it was the best in Houston, but it was really good. Too bad they stopped making it.

How do you distinguish Italian food? It's just different shapes of pasta and it all tastes like tomato sauce.

Do homosexuals in Houston not like lasagna? The ones I know in NYC don't really have a strong opinion on lasagna one way or another.

I think its because it looks too much like a period on a plate, and gays hate vaginas or anything that comes out of it...except for other gay male babies.

Haha no, Barnabys is about as close as you can get to a restaurant equivalent of a "gay bar". I took my gf on a date there once and she asked "is there something you're trying to tell me?". I don't care if it's for gays or Eskimos, the food their is great.

I've been there several times over the years. Love it! Fantastic veal dishes. Heck, fantastic everything, including lasagna. Not cheap, but the best Italian on the Southeast side of Houston.

Ended up going to Maggianos. Not a bad deal, the 2 previous times I'd been there was with a large group of family and we ate family style which is all you can eat, but today I found out that for about $13, you can order a "classic pasta" dish which is the old standbys like lasagna, spaghetti, baked ziti, gnocchi, etc and they give you a complimentary 2nd serving. So I got Lasagna after the game and then took home a plate of baked ziti for lunch tomorrow.
