Maybe the Sennheiser CX300's? I've been looking for some cheap earbuds to carry around for mixing down music when I'm w/ out my monitoring headphones. I'm considering these, some speculate it supposedly has the same guts as their acutal monitoring earbuds (doubt it).
I guess they are not technically infomercials. They are 30 minutes long though and just as full of it though.
JVC marshmallow-$15-20 JVC air cushions-$25-$40 V moda vibe-$65-$80 OR, spend a little extra and just get Ultimate Ears Super Fi 5 Pro, $125-$150. BOSE=buy other sound equipment.
for under 100 bucks, ER6i is your best choice. You can get it from ebay with a good price. I hate that bose in ear phone. The bass is too strong that it hurts my ears. And it doesnt provide sound isolation.
I've heard that the Denon C551K or C751K were pretty good. But yea, that forum has plenty of good suggestions for earphones.
seconded. I've spent a few years on that forum. just picked up a pair of westone 3's. I currently own superfi 5 pro's and yuin pk3's. If you're looking for canal phones in that range I'd probably recommend the denon c551 or c751 if you want bass emphasis and ety er6i if you want more clarity and instrument separation with somewhat light bass. If you want to stick with more traditional earbud style (the ones that come stock with most ipods & mp3 players that dont penetrate your canal) I'd recommend yuin pk or ok series. Those are just suggestions that come off the top of my head, but if you post your musical preferences and such on head-fi I'm sure they'll be able to help you pick the most suitable headphone for you.
V-moda bass freq ftw! these things are so sick, under 25 bucks. I swear to you, this is the absolute best bang for your buck if you are an audiophile who loves his bass.
My earbuds that came with my Sony Ericsson phone are the dopest. Get some off ebay and use an adaptor. They are made to handle "mega bass" on the walkmans as well.
