Have you guys seen this yet? He’s a Canadian high school kid from a small town in southern Alberta. Kind of give the term “stubble jumper” new meaning, don’t ya think? I think he’s now going to school in Washington State on a football scholarship!? http://www.basketballjones.ca/video...kcomp2003.html# (moved from college hoops section)
i saw labradford smith and larry johnson face off in a high school all star tourney in a dunk contest back in the late-80's at Autry Court. unbelievable.
I’m POed that I didn’t hear about this guy sooner. I could have seen him play a game in Calgary. I’m not sure if he’s playing basketball at all anymore. Maybe he was just a dunker, but WOW! what a dunker!
At 16 he was 6’6 and was said to have a 41 inch vertical. Here’s a year old bio on him. http://www.basketballjones.ca/highschool/reasonabledoubt/
You should've paid more attention to this bbs. It's been posted before. Still an amazing clip, though. That being said, after I saw Vince Carter hurdle a 7'+ man and dunk the ball in-game, nothing else can come close until someone does a 1080 degree dunk.
Remember the guy who launched a full court shot with time running out and it completely missed the basket and hit some little kid in the head. The video showed the kid running from the sideline to behind the basket then bam....best HS play ever.
Yeah, but Carter is an NBA pro. This kid is a 16 year old pimply faced farm boy from Taber Alberta Canada. That just makes it all the more amazing to me. I don’t expect a kid with hops like that to come from where he comes from. Serves me right for stereotyping I suppose.
