Is Houston area that bad that everyone need a security system? I am glad I live in a relatively small college town then. I do not know a single family that has security here.
i'm secure at my home. just seems last couple of years the knucklehead factor has gone up. people gettin' jacked in the driveway at the home has gotten out of control!
people break into multi million dollar homes in great neighborhoods (see Dante Robinson), so yes, it is that bad.
I guess I will have to scratch Houston off the list of possible places to live in after I win the Lotto then.
I comes with the territory when living in a big city. Most likely nothing will happen, but it is another level of security to have a home system. I am getting Brinks installed in my house that is under construction.
