To be fair, though, Mustard is King in Texas. As I've said, I'm not big on mustard, either. Order a Whataburger with mayonaisse, Ketchup, pickles, onions, lettuce and tomato, like you would the Whopper, and then compare the two.

And always remember: Try the Ultimate Cheeseburger on Sourdough Bread!

Hmm. First you prefer my exact order at Ziggys and now you were also a freshman at UT in 79?

    What was your major?

Isn't Carl's Jr. essentially the same as Hardee's?

Tookies Bean Burger is my favoirte. It comes with refried beans, picante sauce, and fritos on top. I waited tables there right after high school. KingCheetah may have too, I can't remember.

Skeeter's has good burgers. But you have to buy a "plate" and it's like $7.00. Plus that place is always filled with kids, ugh.

Hey! ... DOB '69, matriculate '79? I think I would have heard about a 10 year old in the business school. :D

Anyway, I was finance (after 3 semesters of torture in engineering).

This is twice that you've tried to derail the burger thread, and it's almost lunch time. I'm trying to get my burger interest piqued, damnit!

Fatty...go visit Lankford Grocery for a little hamburger love. You will be very pleasantly surprised!

And I apologize for steering this thread away from cooked animal flesh!

One thing I forgot to add - the Buffalo Burger at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Co is the most filling burger of all time. It was a half pound burger paddy, but due to the buffalo meat, it felt like I had eaten about 2 lbs. Not bad tasting either.

I agree on Culver's as far as fast food. One just came to Ohio in teh last month. I am an addict of their butterburger.

As far as bar burger the Thurman Burger can't be beat (also here in Ohio). it is one pound of meat. Attached is a website of a local radio host (his fan site I think) look about 1/2 way down and they have a picture of one of the burgers. Best lunch ever!

I drove from my Galleria Area office to eat a burger at the Lankford Grocery today. The burgers cooking smelled great. I walked in and promptly noticed the sign they no longer accept credit cards!

Oh well, I'd like to thank Lankford because I stopped in at Ottos BBQ on the way back to the office and had the 2 meet (ribs and beef) with cajun rice and corn on the cob and it was the best BBQ I've had there in at least 2 months.

I'll try the lankford next time I have some cash in my pocket.

Crap. You just reminded me that I grilled an extra buffalo burger last night so I could eat it for lunch, but I forgot to bring it with me to work. That is enough to ruin my day. Thanks subtomic...thanks a lot

Steak N Shake is WAY overrated. I want a burger not a pancake. Their burgers are WAY too small.

Hell, I never knew they accepted credit cards.

Oh well, all you'll need is a ten dollar bill.

    Hey Harrisment,

Things could be worse....you could have ripped a great big hole in the seat of your pants and had to go home from work to change clothes.
