Have you heard of this place called "McDonalds"? Seriously, I thought Fuddruckers was a popular chain, at least in Houston it is
Lucky Burger on Richmond is pretty durn good. Southwell's on San Felipe is really good as well, always packed on weekdays. They also have a pretty good veggie burger there for you leaf eaters.
Is that the Chili-Cheese one? That's the sh*t right there. They also have a Chili-Cheese w/ hot dogs!
Believe it or not, Houston's has the best burger. Sure, it's expensive, but DAMN is it ever good. Second place goes to... Corner Bistro in NYC. Cheap and awesome. Perfect match with a McSorley's (on tap). This burger is so good, Time Out New York, in its annual "Eat Out" awards, has a category called Best Burger (Besides Corner Bistro)...
I wish Steak and Shake was only 30 minutes away. I echo many of the sentiments here, especially the In-n-Out call. One in town that hasn't been mentioned yet is Sam's Deli on Old Katy Road between Wilcrest and Kirkwood. Had a jalepeno cheeseburger there on Friday. Good stuff.
The Tap Room in San Marcos is probably my favorite. But through my college career I've had about 100 of them so I had to give them up for a while.
I used to go there at least once a month, but they have really gone down the crapper, meat is that frozen crap now and the shakes are not as big as they used to be..They used to have some of the best onion rings and now they messed them up also...
Seriously? I lived in Chicago for 8 years and never met anyone that really liked those burgers. I've had better burgers at McD's
Yup. I was talking about the one with the hot dogs. Two 1/4 lb. patties, 2 hot dogs, chili, and cheese... pardon me I think I'm going to throw up now. I remember when I worked at a hospital around the corner from there a bunch of nurses and some doctors used to go there. That was funny. I ate one of those once and I swear I felt like I was pooping a brick coated with 10W-30 a few hours later. Sorry for the visual, but had to go there... tasted great, though.
They're not really very good. That was just the first name that came to my mind, plus, the setting is original (at least if you don't go there very often).
I remember there used to be a chain of burger places in Houston called Cliff's...that place was pretty good.....anyone know if it's still around?
Whenever IM chilled out I hit up myGorge Foreman Grill, but Plsyers is nice on MLK. Much too incapacitated to respond intelligently, but I'm happy with my new appt and NBA TV. anyone catch LA vs SA 83 twilight Gervin? My room mates a soccer guy so I have towake up Sat morn and watch Machester United and whatnot. It's cool bc I've gotten him addicted to Rockets news. He asks me about the pg/c situation constanly and all I have is theoretical stuff to go by. It's weak
