i'll admit, the lady who takes your order is pretty mean.

but seriously, you order your food, they give you your food. what more do you want for service? a burger and fries is anything but a gourmet meal.

The best burger I've ever had was had this small joint in El Campo called Emils. Double meat/double cheese with onions and a side of chili and rice. Don't believe it's there anymore.

There are two Christian's...one off of I-10 and one in midtown called Christian's Tailgate. I like Totem better but the scenery at Tailgate is nicer

I agree about it being better when it was the actual convenience store combo.

It's a burger that's supposed to keep you full all-day. It's got a hamburger patty, sausage patty, veggies, and a fried egg. I think there may even be some roast beef thrown on that bad boy. One of my roommates finished it a couple months ago and looked like he was in agony.

Yes I have been to Longhorn Cafe off Blanco and 1604. The Burgers there are good but nothing spectacular. You need to try Chesters and Tip Top in San Antonio.

Those of you that havent been to Ruby Tuesdays and had some sort of burger are missing out.

My burger agenda will now take me to:

    Christians
    Lankford Grocery Market.

I was in town last saturday and had a burger at the one in the heights. It's probably the best burger I've had in awhile, other then maybe Taste of Texas :p

seriously, i know many of you may have never heard of this place but their burgers are very good. They have another plaque up from the austin chronicle which showed they were in the top 50 (ranked 4th) best burgers in austin. Burger Tex located on Gessner in between clay and tanner. Get at em!

I just got back from Tornado Burger which is owned by the same guys who own Tornado Taco and I was pretty impressed. I'll definitely be going there more, mainly because it's the only mom and pop burger place in the Mo City/SL area.

I'm sorry man but Tornado Burger is horrible. Soggy fries with some sort of gross seasoning. The burgers are small and nothing to brag about.

You should try BEst Burger. Its also in the Mo City/Sugar Land Area. Thats another mom and pop burger place. Just a heads up, they only take cash. Try them out.

Red Top Burger if youre ever in the friendswood area. Their sour cream fries are awesome too but they always seem to give me an attitude when i come in but their food is awesome.

& Shuttle Burger if youre in the hobby area.
