Have you guys ever been to Euroway? I see the store all the time but never went in to look at their furniture. By the looks, it seems pretty decent to me, but id like to know from someone whos mabye bought something or has been in the store.
Oh yeah.. I get flyers all the time from BelDirect (??) Beltway 8 and I-10 and their prices are really, really low.. but I dont know how well the stuff is made..
i assumed that codell posted that chair as a joke. either way, the fact that you come on here and brag about paying $1000 for that ugly piece of crap tells me all i need to know about your tastes. wow.
Me and my roommates bought a used la-z boy recliner at a garage sell for 30 bucks, and that was the best money we have ever spent. We got a mini-fridge right besides it, which always have cold beer inside. The only problem is now I have to get up early on game days to make sure no one else gets to sit in the thron.
I actually think Franlin recliners are better than Lazy-Boys. They seem to last a lil longer. GF sells Franklin, but they charge about $100-$300 more than other places do for them.
Hi. We bought our black leather sofa at urban leather. We paid about $ 1800.00. It's really attractive, very good quality - looks like the one in the pottery barn catalog that retails around $ 2700.00. http://ww1.potterybarn.com/cat/pip.cfm?src=shpcfuruphsfa|rshop&pkey=cfuruphsfa&gids=p081 We were trying to get one at the pottery barn outlet in San Marcos, but someone always nabbed it before we got there. They do often have excellent recliners, though, in the range of $ 900.00. Sometimes they have something marked way down, like 30% off that. Of course, you have to drive it back from San Marcos. You can also get stuff like that from Southwest Surplus - see Houston Press -or Newport Furnishings, or Storehouse outlet. We matched the sofa with some black leather ottomans from Tuesday Morning, that serve as our coffee tables. They are functional and move easily. There's lots of places that that have the ottoman/coffee table thing, so look around. I think Cost Plus shows them in adds often. You do have to put a big book like an atlas or Michelangelo plates or something on there to hold your drink. There's also the Mega Marshalls on West Gray. They often have cool leather chairs, at good prices. NB - they are usually club chairs, not recliners.
The phone is actually an option on the chair. I decided not to get the phone option because I only use a cell phone. Having your cell phone in your pocket allows you the same benefits of getting the built-in phone. My chair has the 10 motor massage + heat, the rocket/recliner function and the built in fridge (NOT just a cooler, but rather a working refridgerator that can hold 6 beers at a time).
Got all my solid wood furniture at Hilton's. It's beautiful and I got some good deals on it as well. They were very friendly also. Also, he has the coolest commercials. And that's a fact jack.
alright, i guess i shouldn't have made fun of bigtexxx's atrocious tastes in furniture, seems he has company. lying is another thing you have in common with bigtexxx. my mom no longer is and my memories of her are far from ugly.
bigtexxx that is a sweet chair. I want one. I just recently bought an oversized lazy boy but it is cloth and I don't like the way the cloth feels at all when my hands are dry. I want leather.
