The Southwest division is ridiculous. With the news today of LMA signing in San Antonio it made me think: who has the best front court in our division? Houston: Howard/D-Mo Dallas: Jordan/Nowitzki Memphis: Gasol/Randolph San Antonio: I guess they will play Duncan at Center?/Aldridge New Orleans: Asik/Davis Wow. That is insane. The Center position is pretty weak in today's NBA, but 3 of the very best (Howard, Jordan, Gasol) are in the same division! And the other teams that don't have as strong of a Center happen to have two of the very best PF's in today's NBA in Davis and LMA.
1) Duncan/LMA 2) Gasol/Zbo 3) Howard/Dmo 4) Davis/Asik 5) Dirk/Jordan The top 3 in SW are honestly going to be the top 3-4 in the league.
1. Duncan/Aldridge 2. Howard/Dmo(or Smith) 3. Gasol/ Randolph( he is too fat and old now though) 4. Asik/ Davis 5. Deandre Jordan/ Nowitzki I don't see this as a dangerous match unless they bring in a solid roster around those guys. Parsons and Wes Mathews don't scare me.
Hard to argue with this. https://video.fsan1-2.fna.fbcdn.net...=143d02590e7d7a7b12a38c0be364ac27&oe=5594D8BD
Small forwards are part of the frontcourt, it's San Antonio by a huge margin. Kawhi Aldridge Duncan One of the best in recent decades.
I think we might have the best depth if smith resigns and Capela and Montrezl play up to their potential somewhat. In addition ariza and brew/dekker is a good SF rotation . Who knows at this point , papanickolau could shoot 40% from 3 and playmake at a high rate .
The problem with Davis is that although he blocks a ton of shots his defense is not all that great. If his defense takes the next step this coming season then he will be the best but at this time his defense prevents that in my opinion
1. Gasol and Randolph 2. The Brow and Omer Other than that, not sure who I'd rank. I'd also put Cousin + whoever in the mix.
