KFC in America sucks. there's no spicy chicken . That's all I eat from KFC in Saudi Arabia. Herei n the usa. If I want chicken, it's Popeye's.
anyone been to Louisana Foods' retail counter off N Post Oak lately. They added fried chicken. I haven't had it, yet. But I do agree with the Crosstimbers Chicken.
No option for Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles? Actually, the chicken at the Hollywood location is ok...but combining it with the waffles is a unique experience.
Not a fast food place, but the fried chicken at Aunt Bea's @ I-45 & Tidwell is awesome. Come to think of it, the breakfasts, burgers, and chicken fried steaks there are awesome too. Damn, I'm hungry now.
So is anything extra special about the chicken or waffles, or is it just the combination of eating both. I'm headed to LA for a few days and I'd like to try it out.
There are a few Popeyes here in Omaha, every time I ask for "dirty rice" they look at me like I'm an alien.
I would say that Frenchy's is arguably the best Fried Chicken that I have ever had. There is something about the spices they use and the fluffiness of the breading that makes it the best.
Popeyes spicy dark meat with a side of Red beans and rice, cajun mashed potatoes, and a biscuit. THAT'S what's up.
Fantastic sides, good desserts, biscuits.. best of all the fast food franchises.. But the chicken itself..? It's ******* SALTY! Made me nauseous..
Holy crap, forgot about that...Been to the one on MLK a long long time ago...The wings and rice were pretty good...I've never been to Frenchy's, but obviously need to try it next time I'm in town...
I've been to Frenchy's twice this week. It was good. Best ever? That's hard to say. The crawfish etoufee was soupy.
I've never gotten that at Frenchy's because I don't think it's the kind of place I would want to get crawfish etoufee. Next time you go, try the red beans and rice. Incredible.
Everyone says you have to try the "real" Frenchy's. So I went and to me, it didn't taste any different than the Frenchy's franchises. They're opening a Timmy Chan's on Bissonnet and Synott...aww yeah!
