LOST and Sherlock had excellent pilot episodes... but my favorite has to be The Walking Dead. That was such an amazing episode. It's unfortunate that the show went downhill the rest of the season (for me at least). I stopped watching after the first episode of the 2nd season.
Loved that series and the first episode was great. I hated it when they cancelled the series. Too expensive to make they said. Fast Forward had a really great 1st episode I thought. The series as a whole was just so so but they went all out on the 1st episode.
I loved the Heroes first episode, all season 1 was great, then not so much. what about 24? I dont really remember the first episode, but the 1st season was nice too.
ok, just watched the first episode of "Friday Night Lights". I grew up in basketball country of Illinois just like this. The Mayor and city council voted on who would be the next HS bball coach. I think there are only two states in the Union who don't consider football the number one sport...my state and our neighbor Indiana But, I'm going to have to say that I think Texas football cares more about football than Illinois Basketball cares about basketball. Go Texans!
That's what popped into my mind as well, Atia's character really stood out for me right from the start.
