Classic. I cried when I saw it as a little kid. I don't know if there was a dry eye in the theatre. This was when it first came out.
The end of Gallipoli is the most heart-wrenching. Johnny Depp's death in Nightmare on Elm Street is one of the most creatively gorey. The death of the spacewalking astronaut in 2001 is one of the creepiest
basically from the point where broderick gets capped to the point where they dump them in the mass grave together.. good scene..
Pat Bateman in American Psycho when he kills the bum on the street. "You know what a f***** loser you are!" stab, stab....
Agreed. My favorite death scene of all-time to this day is still Spock's at the end of Wrath of Khan. 22 years later and it still moves me everytime I see it. Ok, Star Trek III(the most underrated entry in the series) does pretty much undo the events of the 2nd film, but not without a price. Kirk's son is killed and the entire Enterprise crew sacrifices their careers and essentially their lives to save Spock(and did so before even knowing he was alive). This movie is the reason I will always prefer the original crew over the Next Generation bunch. Star Trek IV. Now that's the one with the deus ex machina of a plot that undoes the events of the 2nd and 3rd films(although at least it was damn entertaining in the process).
Just thought of another one... Charles Bronson’s death at the end of The Magnificent Seven when he saves the little boy before he’s shot.
Prime and Megatron fought when the Decepticons attacked the base. Prime was blowing everybody away and went hand to hand with megatron. megatron shot him a couple of times and they both just mauled each other. prime is on his death bed and then gives the up the matrix.
How about Tony Montana buying it in Scarface? Or when Jim Malone (Sean Connery) dies in the Untouchables. I hated to see him die. Khan's death scene in Star Trek II was cool too. How about when Gunny buys it in Full Metal Jacket? I am......in the world of ****. And it's called Law and Order.
a chinese movie called a better tomorrow The end scene when chow yun fat dies. I almost cried, but it was just smoke in the room
dude, you forgot the best part! Prime had basically beaten Megatron, but Hot Rod shouts at them and distracts him and Megatron pulls out a gun and shoots him. So Optimus Prime's death was really caused by hot rod. Stupid Pansy. I hate Hot Rod. Another good death scene in that movie is when Ultra Magnus (guy who took the matrix from Prime- is that his name?) is trying to open the matrix on the junkticon planet, standing there, saying "come on, Light our darkest hour!" but it doesn't open, and instead he just gets blown to pieces. Hilarious. At least that's how I remember it.
