That's because when I was in my early 20's, we used to find a ticket/receipt on one of the tables, and when they called up any "to go" order, we casually placed the ticket on the counter and walked out the front door. (they never checked to see if your # matched the order)

Fast food just simply doesn't get better than Whataburger. That was my vote all the way.

And, with 62% of the vote, the best fast food in Houston is...

    Fuddruckers!

    No, wait...

    Whataburger!

    Now go get one!

Screw Whataburger, I'm going to Fuddruckers today. They have grilled onions too.

"Too much cottage on my burrito" the last time... and I am traumatized as a result.

If they're both "made to order", how in the world can you say one burger joint is faster than the other?

Cottage on my burrito? Is that another way of saying you have a fat ass?

I'm really just playing, Fatty. But in my own experience, Whataburger has been far faster than Fuddrucker's.

Sure it is. I just couldn't imagine, with the time I've waited at Fudducker's, them being able to serve a drive-thru line. Whataburger probably gets 75% of their business served that way (best guess). Can't imagine Fuddrucker's being able to do that. By the time I pay, get my drink, get a table, and wait 10 minutes or so before my order is ready, I'd be honking and screaming in a drive-thru line! :)

Maybe its the thick-cut fries. As I've said, when I've ordered mine (I order just a burger, medium-rare), By the time I've filled my coke and found my table, my order is ready.
