no homer but harden and d12 fit perfectly, while the others play like the same role

LeBron and Wade until proven otherwise. Right now Harden and Howard are still an unknown on the court. We have expectations, but nothing real yet.

Can't bet against Bron. He alone wins this for the duo.

LeBron and Chalmers would still be the best duo.

Would have been better as Durant/Westbrook vs Harden/Howard because it's a conference rivalry and because it doesn't involve LeBron James. LeBron/Wade is the obvious answer to anyone that isn't a supreme homer. LeBron/Chalmers vs the others would make it more debatable.

Howard/Harden vs Durant/Westbrook is actually an interesting question though. I think it depends on which Howard we see. Prime Howard is arguably more dominant than prime Durant. My guess though for next season is:

Durant is a bit better than Howard in WARP type terms/advanced metrics
Harden is a bit better than Westbrook along the same lines

What's more interesting is how the duo's as duo's add up. People criticize Westbrook for chucking (COUGH) and not deferring to Durant enough, but after the playoffs I think it's damn clear that Durant needs Westbrook to draw attention away and open up shots for him. Durant heroball doesn't work well at all.

We haven't seen Harden/Howard together, but in theory they should mesh very well. Nice pick and roll combo, Harden's 3s can help space for Howard. They're an inside/outside duo. They naturally compliment each other.

Did I even mention Lin as a duo?

Why do you always have an agenda when mentioning Lin?

Did he rob your house or do your girlfriend?

Shouldn't we wait until Dwight and Harden play some games together first?

The twosome concept is a bogus one. It was raised by the media to sensitize players and unfortunately bought by the stupid mass.

Why don't they come up with the concept of dynamic triple, dynamic quadruple or dynamic penta?

People need to stop being self conscious comparing their players to Lebron. He will go down as one of the greatest ever. It's all about the team that gets assembled around your core players that will win it.
