The three best defenders at each position, IMO: Rajon Rondo / Russell Westbrook / Chris Paul Kobe Bryant / Thabo Sefalosha / Dwayne Wade Ron Artest / LeBron James / Gerald Wallace Kenyon Martin / Udonis Haslem / Chuck Hayes Kendrick Perkins / Dwight Howard / Andrew Bogut
Who have I seen shut opposing players (or at least give them fits), especially superstars or very good offensive players? Non-Superstars and All-Stars (not quite top flight) PG: Rondo, Bayless, Lowry, Chalmers (his offense could improve alot-I'd even say he is liability at times, and he has went backwards this year mainly for his attitude, though this guy can revive it up on defense, if his head is in the right place) SG: Affalo, Ronnie Brewer, SF: Battier, Ariza, Webster PF: Hayes, -Mart (Kenyon Martin), Haslem (does really well), Josh Smith C: Perkins, Odezibilla, Camby, Bogut (is becoming pretty good on defense) Superstars - All Stars PG: Paul, Kidd SG: Kobe, Roy SF: LeBron, Pierce PF: Duncan, KG, R.Wallace (up until a quarter through last season) C: Howard, Shaq, Yao
Rondo defends PGs and some SGs so well. Yao > Howard > Duncan. Howard > anybody not named Yao. Duncan > anybody not named Shaq, Yao, Howard, or Gasol.
