If you want to listen to one of her songs, here's a link if you're curious.

    http://www.saraimusic.com/

I don't think she's gonna make it, but thats just my opinion.

Sex sells more than actual music
If she goes the britney route she might go platinum
maybe a mix in a bit of Avril

Music industry now is all about style
    not substance

True, but she doesn't even look good. Again, thats just my opinion. They should have gotten a better looking girl if they wanted me as a fan.Cause as a rapper, I don't think she would make it.

i stand corrected. i originally posted the link to the article about her trying to be a smartarse, but she's actually okay sounding.

the song that you can listen to on the link you posted is a tad bit too busy, but it's a "booty-shaking dance floor" song... so it's supposed to be busy. you usually can't go wrong with those. the album cover looks a little soft-poppish imo. maybe a little bling bling around the neck will do the trick. ;)

anyway, she reminds me a bit of the singer anastacia... not the way she sounds... just in the "looks" department when they both first came out. anastacia had this "funky/urban hiphop" thing going on. didn't work. she's since changed to more of a sexy r&b'ish type of singer. maybe sarai will do the same, but the other way around (more hiphopish).

Yeah, she does sound ok when she raps, but she has to come up with better stuff than that if she wants to survive as an hiphop artist. If anyone were to see her on the street, you wouldn't even think that she was a hiphop artist. Well from the pictures from the link you wouldn't.

Plus, she is nowhere close to even being called a female eminem. She might prove me wrong though, I need to listen to other songs from her that don't sound to busy.

Some good choices out there, excluding Nelly and Cookie Monster.

    Some good ones:

    Philly's Most Wanted
    Dead Prez
Xzibit's older stuff ( ie "what you see is what you get")
    AZ
    Kam
    Loon

Here's a poll question for the board. "Would you have bought 50 Cent's album if it hadn't said 'Produced by Dr. Dre and Eminem' on the back?"

I probably would have just because I would be curious. But I'm glad he didn't, cause I heard his unreleased first cd that was supposed to come out the other day and it just totally sucked big ones. He's lucky he didn't come out with it, he wouldn't be this big if it wasn't for Eminem and Dre.

You're kidding right? Man, I don't care who the f*ck else will like a song. If it sounds good and has merit, I'm bumping it.

Ok, after careful thought, deliberation and hours of listening to my music, I decided to place my vote with Nas. After listening to songs like "Ny State of Mind", "Lifes a b****", "The World is Yours", "One Love", "Memory Lane", "Street Dreams", "Ether", "Rewind", "2nd Childhood", "No Ideas Original", "Black Zombies", "Doo Rags", and "Fetus", I couldnt deny it anymore. Nas is one of the sickest songwriters to ever pick up a mic.

50 Cent probably would have gone platinum anyways regardless of Em and Dre. Most everyone into hip hop already knew who 50 cent was because of the mixtapes he put together, which really started the whole buzz around him. But Because of Em, all the white boys bought the album too and now they are the Rap Juggernauts.
