    I'm impressed with how many got listed that I didn't think of.

    A lot of people listed stuff that AFI lists as comedies, but I don't think they are pure comedies like big. Half of the movie is just not funny and not meant to be funny. It was a performance art by Tom Hanks, that's it. Castaway had funny parts, but it's definitely no comedy.

    Good call on The Gods Must Be Crazy, but don't forget number II.
