Word, SamFisher. Jarik sucks. He's a tall PG, but he's a tall *sucking* PG. Let a stupid franchise throw money at this guy -- the Rockets stopped being stupid when they acquire T-Mac.

    G. Wallace, and Kwame Brown. (Split the exception and use it on two players). Use the draft pick on the most athletic player left....i.e. High School player.

oh yeah.. Bowen won't be back. So that leaves us with

    Sura, James
    Wesley, Barry, 1st round pick
    T-Mac, G. Wallace,
    J.Howard, Kwame Brown, Padgett
    Yao, Mutombo

    Vin Baker, Moochie, Weatherspoon I.R.

Jaric is a decent defender--he can get in the lanes and has quick hands. Not great at staying in front of his man though.. so only good off the ball. Also a decent shooter now, and is actually a pretty good passer. Made improvements this year early on when he was healthy...injuries hurt him the rest of the way and he didn't ever get back to 100%

I'll take a crack at it...

    Yao / Deke / Badiane
    Howard / Gadzuric / Padgett
    TMac / Hodges / Bowen
    R. Bell / Barry / Spanoulis
    A. Daniels / Sura

A little younger, much faster and athletic

I'm going to wait until he has more time in the league (it's only his 3rd year). He should get better. Nash wasn't that good his first three years. Beno Udrih isn't a stat man. But the guy sure does hustle. I'd love it if Jaric did the same (he's not as aggressive as Sura/Beno)

But I agree that he shouldn't be the 1# top list.

Reallly? Cause I've seen him, and he looks frigging awful. He gets burned like toast every time I've seen him - and the #'s seem to validate it - very few players at PG, or even on the Clippers get lit up like he does. It's really hard for me to not come to that conclusion when 1. he looks like he sucks out there, and 2. the numbers reflect that.

DavidS, next year is the guy's 4th year in the league - I'm not saying to hang him, he might be a decent backup, but I couldn't throw the MLE at him and say hey you're my starting PG, if I did you have permission to shoot me - as to whether or not he'll get better I obviously can't say, as my nachbar prediction worked out wrong by a few points, so I'll reserve judgment, but I wouldn't put a premium on it. I'll tell you that if I had a chance at Antonio Daniels, etc, instead, I'd jump on it.

Yes, I don't want Jaric to be a Nachbar -- good/and bad. They are decent playres that play good sometimes. But they are not player you can count on.

Personally, I thought that Nachbar would be around 10ppg by now He's at 8ppg. Eh...maybe in a couple more years?

I actually think Nachbar can rebound (7-8ppg?). I'm not joking. I just don't think that Nachbar *wants* to play under the basket. He could, though. He's could be a good rebounder with skills and long arms. If Sura (6'5") can average 6RPG, Nachbar (6'9") could do 8RPG...one of these days.

I think Jarci will be a very good player in his 6-7th year. Not sure about his upside (how good, is very good? 15-17ppg?).

I'd take Jeff McInnis or Antonio Daniels in a heart beat.

    Heres what i think:

    1: Brevin Knight/Sura
    2: Sprewell/Barry
    3: T-mac/Warrick
    4: Donyell Marshall/Juwon
    5: Yao/Deke

Ideal Scenario: Trade for Paul Pierce and sign SAR.
