why does everybody like Raising Canes so much? when they first opened over at the old Kim Son location off of Voss/Westhimer, I thought it SUCKED ASS. Nothing special about them. Chili's chicken strips are awesome, friend in tempura with Honey Mustard, is some good stuff. I am actually a fan of Hooters' chicken strips. btw, totally off subject, but had to ask Fatty, have you watched "Fast Food Nation" that movie is a trip and may make me stay away from fast food burgers.
Haven't seen it. Don't need to. Here is the secret: I can eat whatever I want, but I make sure to stay with 100-150 grams of fat per day. As of now, I weigh 185, but I did get to 240 once. I was able to take the weight off by simply not eating as much. I figured it out when I went to Europe. They've got all sorts of fat-filled foods, yet you hardly see anyone overweight. It's mainly because they aren't nearly as gluttonous as we, as a nation, are. To anyone who would like to shed a few, try my diet out. It truly does work. And pay no attention to calories. My brother, who lost close to 80 lbs. taught me that. Only watch your fat grams.
Cues Burgers and More have unreal strips. It is basically 4 chicken breasts, fries, toast and gravy for 6 bucks. Tenders are white meat with no too much breading. Everything at this mom and pop place is great. http://houston.citysearch.com/profile/9879462/houston_tx/cue_s_burger_s_more.html
I also heard that Poppa Burger on Main has good chicken strips. Never tried them though, I went to that place at 2am on a saturday night, kinda creepy. I had like 4 hobos ask me for a cigarette, and I dont even smoke.
