With three boys, we order Pizza a LOT. Which is the best cheap pizza chain? That means I can feed my kids for under $10. Leaving out Mod and Blaze because they’re a ‘build your own’ personal pizza place. Leaving out Papa Murphy’s because you have to cook it. If there’s a good suggestion I will add it.
I never really eat pizza much anymore, but I always liked Papa Murphy's even though you had to heat it up yourself. You can't be that lazy, dude.
My mom used to get us pizza from this place down the street called jokers pizza about 15 years ago, it was small and it's probably been closed for years. I think I remember liking it Hope it helps
We don't get it a lot but when we do, it's Pizza Hut. And that's because that's what the Mrs decrees. I don't have strong feelings in any direction, but back in the day (when it first came around) I used to prefer Papa John's to all others. I have no idea what their quality is nowadays.
I added it but…there are some weeknights the meltdowns from not eating since lunch are real and all you want to do is feed the little ****ers. Kids are relatively easy if they aren’t sick. Keep them fed and make sure they get enough sleep.
I love Pizza Hut but it’s a commitment to misery. If I eat even one piece I feel like ass the next day and am bound to get acne. I used to have a neighbor who was a Papa John’s manager. He would give me free pizza but I had to come make it. If they charged by the topping I probably had a $30 pizza when I walked out.
When I was younger the cici pizza buffet was like 4-5 per person and I went the other day first time in years and that sh**it was over 10. If you won't try the chicken at sams club even though this thread well then try their pizza. It has bubbles in it and is like 80s pizza. Also speaking of 80s little Caesars now vs. 80s is different.. little Caesars disappeared then came back. I haven't looked into it but that story is curious.. not what l remember but then again I know them as berenstein bears
I get the take and bake from Sams on occasion for the kids. Good weekend lunch for them. Little Caesars is awesome. $6 and all three of them are full. Granted, the teenager just ate and will eat again in two hours but I covered the warm meal.
Yeah, when I moved to Dallas, I used to keep Papa John's in business. They were way better than any of the alternatives at the time. Then somebody told me about Papa Murphy's and I liked them, too. I heard Domino's is better in the last few years after those commercials where they admitted they sold crap. lol. Funny how that works. On a side note. I used to grow up eating any kind of pizza and pretty much thinking most pizza was all the same. Sure some may taste slightly better, but whatever. A few years ago my manager who was from Chicago always said Chicago pizza was the best and some of my co-workers and I were like "whatever, dude... blah blah.." So he mail-ordered some Lou Malnati's pizza from Chicago and we heated it up in the oven. My opinion on what is "good pizza" changed that day. On another side note ... I remember eating at CiCi's in college back in the 90's when their buffets were $2.99 or $3.99. Oh, to have no taste buds and low prices again.
Cicis is cheap and plentiful whenever i visited tx. Could even custom order pizzas for your table. Not sure how its doing during Covid. Papa Murphy's prob has the healthiest feeling among the list, though no pizza can be considered healthy
CiCi’s and it ain’t even close. No one will leave hungry. Among the usual suspects, Pizza Hut, Domino’s , and Papa John’s, Domino’s makes the best pie.
