I have a 2003 Passat in excellent condition, get's 22-27 mpg, has 65k miles on it but has a transferable bumper to bumper to 100k, i'm in commercial real estate so it has a ton of highway miles. New tires, leather, power everything. email me at joshaaronb@u2.com if you are interested

Hyundai Elantra is nice and can be gotten brand new for about that price with the 10 year/100,000 warranty. It is a 4 door, and you would be getting a new car rather than a used one.

My wife and I each drive one, and we have zero complaints. If I were to buy another car right now, it would probably a Hyundai.

Are Saab's reliable? Aren't they owned by GM or Ford?

They look nice though. Seems pretty reasonable.

10 years / 100,000 miles? Is that bumper to bumper?

    If so..... wow!

you can hold a lot more than you think with the Mini. the back seats fold down, and you are golden with that bass.

Highly recommend the Mini. Very happy. So fun to drive, and versatile. You may well be able to find a slightly used one in your range.

The PT cruiser also has a lot of versatility.

No, it's powertrain. No company offers more than 5/60000 mi bumper-to-bumper warranty as far as I know.

FYI, I believe 2006 is the last year the RSX will be made.

Rsx's hold their value rediculously high. I was helping my friend look for one and the only ones I found for $15k had 70k+ miles, auto, base model. If I was going to spend that kind of money for a used rsx, it better be the Type S with lower miles.

Thats what I found too. I would love to have an RSX but they just dont depreciate as fast as other cars I suppose..... :( The ones with lower miles are around $18-19K.

Still like the idea of the Saab someone suggested - not sure about reliablitiy.

Saabs are good vehicles, but I am not sure I would spend a lot of money on a used one (or a new one, for that matter).
