    hey maybe the employee was being smart. annoying guy walks in, the problem has nothing to do with her at all, and he tries to pay with a bunch of $2 notes... probably with a nice big smile on his face. Maybe she wanted payback and she is not as dumb as it seems? Probably not , though.

    I have never experienced the problems that you guys do at Best Buy. But then again, I only go there to buy media (cds, dvds, games). I guess this stuff happens when you start looking at home electronics.

    But in the end of the article it states that
    So I think Best Buy still have to right to not accept pennies, unless their policy agreement says otherwise.

    I'm still traumatized by the whole ordeal, thought about seeing a shrink about this...:( ;)

    Everytime I walk into a Best Buy these days, I shift my eyes nervously around alot and constantly shove my hands in my pocket in a nervous tic. :p

    Has anyone seen an old movie called Mister 880?

    The Skipper is a charming old man loved by all his neighbors. What they don't know is that he is also Mr. 880, an amateurish counterfeiter who has amazingly managed to elude the Secret Service for 20 years.

    Basically it's the story of an old man who counterfeits $1 bills and does a bad job of it, yet gets away with it for a long time.
