Tried hagen-das, just meh. Ben and Jerry's is ok, but HEB ice cream is better than that and much cheaper. I don't eat much ice cream, but going with Blue Bell; 1. Strawberries and Cream. 2. Ice Cream Cone when I can find it. 3. Plain Vanilla I'm not an ice cream snob, because not a nerd.
I don't eat blue bell anymore because their irresponsibility led to people dying BUT..... If It were ever released, Cinnamon. They only sell it to Taste of Texas but it is the best.
Vanilla is what I usually get cause it's classic. But the Blackberry Cobbler is a great "recent" flavor. Pecan Pralines and Cream is my favorite classic "non-Vanilla" flavor.

Wedding cake... it was a seasonal flavor in the mid 2000s but didnt bring it back for a while. They rereleased it last year as Bride cake.

Me too. Not every store around me seems to carry it though, and the Listeria thing happened right after they started selling it so that really pissed me off.
In my household, it's my kids that enforce the Blue Bell ban. I generally buy store brand for them. If I'm sneaking some for myself, I'll buy Ben & Jerry's.
Ben and Jerry's makes the best Vanilla ice cream. Seriously, just plain old vanilla. It's damn good. My favorite Blue Bell flavors are Pistachio Almond and Cherry Vanilla.
I don't disagree with that, the Kroger Private Selections are really freakin good, Denali Moose Tracks, bah gawd!
So overrated. The vanilla is good enough to be proud of, but all of the rest of their flavors are shameful. Cookie dough? Would rather have basically any brand over Blue Bell.
Baskin Robbins made me appreciate Blue Bell more. That ice cream has no sugar and is expensive. You paying for cold yogurt
For all the haters of The Great Blue Bell Ice Cream; we know its not the greatest ice cream in the world, we know its not the creamiest, we know people have different opinions. Shut Up! We Know! The thing is, Blue Bell is still a very good Ice Cream. A lot has to do with nostalgia as a kid but its still very good. It hits a perfect middle ground of not too creamy and just icy enough thats great for texture. I will eat Blue Bell all day, everyday over a lot of fancier, more expensive brands. I hate the too creamy texture, its like oil in your mouth. Give me Blue Bell.
Ben and Jerry’s is the absolute worst ice cream on he planet. It’s terrible For Blue Bell, cookies n cream is the best, and the best version of hat flavor around IMO. And nothing beats it after a stop at the dispensary. That being said, Blue Bell is a shameful company that I should not be supporting. I most stick to Halo Top nowadays, but I still buy cookies n cream in a weak moment
They knew they had a problem for years and didn't do anything about it. They killed a few people with their inaction. Holding a company accountable for killing people isn't living in the past.
