I pick, Hungry farmer (across from where northline mall was). It's a ghetto looking place, but they have the best bbq.
Hungry Farmer sucks! I went there once, and that place is terrible. Carl's in Cy Fair is nice. Off Telge.
GoodenQ's - It's a frigin trailer parked at a Conoco Gas station @ W. Little York and Barker Cypress Rd.. Hot Damn that is some good BBQ only thing is it's a ways out from where I live ( Sugarland ). I've tried BBQ everywhere in Houston and Alvin.. Nothing is as home made and yummy as Gooden Q BBQ.
My favorite in Houston is Luling City Market. Second would be Rudy's, though I have not eaten at the new one in Houston. Third goes to Goode Co. BBQ, which was my favorite growing up (however, I ate there a few weeks ago for the first time in ages and it was pretty mediocre)
i already tried all of them.. including korean, brazillian ( fogo de chao ), i still like papa's. i work there .
Hickory Barn on wilcrest near 59. Probably not the best, but I grew up eating their BBQ so that's what I judge all BBQ on. Some might say it's Burn's BBQ, but I've never been there.
cars off 290 in Cypress is the best I've had. I went to the Rib Tickler in Tomball last weekend. I was pretty disappointed.
Growing up in Houston, my parents favorite place was Demeris BBQ. I'd like to try that place again now that I've grown and had a chance to try some pretty good BBQ.
