Go to any Modell's sporting good store and try on the sneakers. I gotta say the Nike bball kicks are the best. Fila had a few nice looking shoes but the ones I tried on had poor traction. Adidas tend to be really narrow for my feet and didn't feel as comfortable. Reebok is probably the 2nd best for basketball sneakers.
