In a scale of 1-10, where 1 is good, and 10 is the extreme "good" (because almost no Argentine player you and I know is bad), the two dudes you mention have a way to get to 10, where La Pulga Messi is... they're at most at a 7 or 8.

WHile the answer is Messi, wattching the City/Real game yesterday Di Maria is a fantastic footballer. For me after Messi, the next best footballers from Argentina would be Tevez, Auguero and Di Maria.

Messi is the clear answer, but

Scola has done way more than you give him credit for. Ginobili is 1a and Scola is 1b in Argentinian basketball. Scola has been heavily involved in the last decade of their success and is arguably the more dominant international player. I think he has made more intl appearances as well, not to mention he was the captain of the team, at least in the most recent Olympics over ginobili

 

As much as I love my boy GINOBILI!, I gotta go with Leo Messi. The boy is BADD. Superbad.
